TBC – EV Controls Tesla Model 3/Y battery controller
A new battery controller is now available for customers interested in utilizing the full battery pack from Tesla Model 3 or Y vehicles.
Suitable for stationary storage applications such as solar installations, or for electric vehicle conversions requiring a complete Model 3/Y battery pack, this product integrates with a dashboard app. The app displays extensive data from the battery pack, including High Voltage (HV) Status, Battery Management System (BMS) status, available power, state of charge, amperage limits, fault and alert information, thermal data, minimum and maximum values for cell/brick voltages and temperatures, energy statistics, kilowatt-hour (kWh) counter data, and Power Conversion System (PCS) details.
Features:
The TBC app offers the functionality to set charge limits and amperage for the onboard charger.
Additionally, the product includes a functional onboard DC/DC converter for charging a 12V battery.
Remote reflash of the BMS or PCS is possible through the app, facilitated by the battery controller.
Compatibility has been tested and confirmed with 78kWh and 82kWh Nickel-Manganese-Cobalt (NMC) battery packs, as well as 60kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) versions.
