Q : Good morning, I have a problem with a gigavac type contactor which I think I bought from you. When I connect the control circuit to 12V (auxiliary vehicle battery), the contactor gets very hot. I have measured more than 60ºC temperature. I understand that it is the coil that heats up. It heats up without having any load in the power circuit. I understand that this is not normal. Can you tell me how to prevent the contactor from getting so hot? Thanks for the information Josep Anton Sanz Recare
